В-четвёртых, у смартфона отсутствует выделенный мультимедийный динамик, а звук выводится только с помощью разговорного. Громкости ему для рингтонов и видео хватает, а вот качество — средненькое. Хотя другие смартфоны этой ценовой категории, даже имея отдельный динамик, играют не лучше

Несмотря на внушительную диагональ экрана 6,82″, смартфон ощущается не слишком громоздким. В первую очередь, это объясняется соотношением сторон панели — 20,5:9. Почти как у Sony! Тем не менее, экран и правда очень большой, и пользоваться смартфоном в этом плане очень приятно. В то же время, мне без труда удавалось делать это одной рукой, но если у вас не такие длинные пальцы, сподручнее будет использовать обе. Благодаря пластику Infinix Hot 10 Play не особо тяжёлый (207 г), что тоже идёт в плюс эргономике. А в минус идут слишком высоко задранные кнопочки на правом торце и сканер отпечатков пальцев. Такое ощущение, что они остались на том же расстоянии от верхнего края, что было у смартфонов с 18:9. Это не очень правильный подход.

Что до самого дисплея, то он выполнен по технологии IPS и имеет невпечатляющее разрешение 1640х720 точек. Дисплею объективно не хватает яркости, так что читаемость на солнце немного страдает, но других претензий у меня к нему нет. Даже к разрешению — с классическим строением субпикселей HD+ смотрится нормально, пиксели можно разглядеть только специально настроившись сделать это. С углами обзора, цветопередачей и другими параметрами тоже всё в порядке. Частота обновления – только 60 Гц, но в столь бюджетном сегменте это норма.

Прошивка создана и портируется на различные устройства компанией Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. Нетрудно догадаться, что она преследовала цель популяризовать собственные смартфоны. Полный список поддерживаемых устройств доступен только в китайской версии сайта.

Интерфейс по-настоящему оригинален. Абсолютно все стандартные приложения из Android заменены на приложения собственной разработки, а остальные значительно доработаны. Он позволяет ограничить значительно больше параметров, чем Android Marshmallow. Интерфейс настроек и почти всех системных приложений полностью русифицирован. А вот во всех приложениях, которые работают через интернет, ты увидишь только китайские иероглифы, но метод научного тыка и знание того, как устроены подобные приложения, вполне позволяют ими пользоваться.

В китайском аналоге Play Store есть почти все популярные (и не очень) приложения. Но гугловские программы откажутся работать без сервисов Google Play, а поставить эти сервисы не так-то просто. В интернете есть решение проблемы, но работает оно далеко не всегда, придется пользоваться либо встроенным маркетом, либо разными неофициальными магазинами, а также смириться с тем, что некоторые приложения «не заведутся» без Google Services.

Крупный моноблок с корпусом из серебристого пластика и плоскими бортиками отличается умеренной толщиной. По весу Infinix NOTE 12 PRO укладывается в категорию «до 200 граммов», так что смартфон достаточно увесистый.

Плоская клавиша питания находится на правом боку, в неё вписан сканер отпечатков. Он срабатывает отлично, ошибок нет, если точно приложить палец на кнопку. Чуть выше выступает кнопка регулировки громкости. Зачастую приходится перехватывать смартфон, чтобы отрегулировать громкость, но это уже обычные издержки крупного устройства.

В целом смартфон удобен в использовании, если привыкнуть к его размерам. Во-первых, он не скользкий, не норовит вылететь из ладони и не заляпывается. Во-вторых, вес приемлемый, а толщина небольшая, из кармана джинсов он не выпирает.

Экран, батарея, порты: много ВСЕГО

У этого смартфона огромный IPS-экран размером 6,85 дюйма с разрешением Full HD+ (2460 х 1080 пикселей). Во время игр его комфортно держать в руках, крепкий хват с комплектным силиконовым чехлом создаёт ощущение портативной консоли.

При этом главной фишкой стал не размер экрана, а его плавность, потому что здесь есть частота обновления 90 Гц. В настройках дают выбрать один из трёх режимов развёртки: 60 Гц, 90 Гц или адаптированная.

Последняя включает частоту ниже во время работы камеры или просмотра видео и показывает плавнее, когда вы скролите меню или листаете статьи в браузере.

Традиционно для среднего бюджета, в Zero 8 установлен порт USB-C, есть разъём на 3,5 мм, поддержка двух SIM и возможность расширить память до 2 ТБ с помощью micro SD. В комплект положили наушники со звуком «чтобы были».

Сам корпус пластиковый, но заднюю панель сделали так качественно, что я так сначала и не подумал. Спинка напоминает окрашенное стекло, которое ставят многим.

В целом всё хорошо — почти нулевой троттлинг в 3DMark, почти сплошная зелёная зона в CPU Throttling Test. А вот GFXBench немного свёл смартфон с ума, аппарат за 5 минут нагрелся на 8 градусов и начал активно сбрасывать производительность, в итоге к концу теста она составляла лишь две трети от исходного уровня. Это сильный троттлинг, и довольно странно, что его спровоцировал только GFXBench, но не 3DMark.

Теперь об играх. С относительно простенькими, типа Brawl Stars или Tacticool, девайс справляется без труда. SuperTuxKart, если немного понизить настройки, тоже хорошо идёт. В Genshin Impact комфортно играть на низких и даже средних настройках — и это хороший результат, учитывая, что на многих телефонах схожего класса приходится ставить минимальную графику, чтобы не страдать от лагов. Слава фирменной ускорялке DirLink, оформленной в виде приложения Game Zone? Возможно. Из неприятного — я так и не смог запустить Shadowgun Legends, она постоянно вылетает.

Ёмкость аккумулятора Infinix Note 10 Pro составляет 5000 мАч, что не очень-то много, учитывая огромный и яркий IPS-экран с высокой частотой обновления. Результаты в синтетических тестах действительно не из лучших: за два часа видео смартфон разрядился на 24%, за час игры — на 19% (так как мне не удалось запустить Shadowgun Legends, тестировал в SuperTuxKart). Тем не менее, в реальной жизни со всеми отключенными функциями энергосбережения смартфон выдаёт до семи часов экрана в течение 1-2 дней эксплуатации.

Заряжается смартфон, благодаря 33-Вт комплектному блоку, довольно быстро — с нуля до 100% за полтора часа. За 10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80 минут уровень заряда в ходе теста достиг 15-29-43-57-71-83-90-94 процентов. Это хорошая скорость для 33-Вт зарядки, разве что замедление в конце уж слишком радикальное. Но я понимаю, что Infinix таким образом бережёт аккумулятор, а заботу о долговечности смартфонов можно только приветствовать.

Одним из главных недостатков Infinix Note 8 было отсутствие NFC, но уже тогда компания обещала, что исправится. И правда: исправилась. У Infinix Note 10 Pro есть две версии, с NFC и без неё, и в России продаётся только версия с поддержкой этой технологии. Поддерживается также Wi-Fi 5, а вот насчёт других беспроводных стандартов Infinix в характеристиках ничего подробно не говорит.

While the above Infinix devices/smartphones are guaranteed an Android 12 update as they were released with an Android 11 out-of-the-box, there are those that are uncertain/unconfirmed to receive the same as they were released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box.

The Infinix devices released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box are uncertain to receive the upcoming Android 12 update because these devices have not received even the Android 11 update till now. But, there is still a possibility that they’ll receive the Android 12 update. Hence, they are needed to be added to the list.

The above-mentioned Infinix Smartphones are the devices that may or may not receive the upcoming major Android 12 update. From the lists, the devices with Android 11 out-of-the-box will most probably receive the Android 12 update while the devices with Android 10 out-of-the-box are uncertain to receive the same.

Time will tell which Infinix smartphones/devices will get the Android 12 update and which won’t. In the meantime, the only thing that Infinix users can do is wait.

What of bloatware?

XOS is well known for its bloatware and ads. The usual suspects are still all there and XOS 7.6 is as heavy as its predecessor, v7.1, was. Most of those pre-installed apps cannot be uninstalled.

There also still pesky ads all over the place. You can disable them, if you have the patience: there is no convenient switch to disable them with.

Infinix note 10 Pro is one of the first 2021 Infinix phones to feature XOS 7.6

XOS 7.6 was first seen in the Hot 10S NFC. It will also be available on Infinix Note 10 and 10 Pro, along with other 2021 Infinix phones.

Optimization with Xmanager

In a nutshell, the XManager bundles up the following features: Mobile cleanup, App manager, Bandwidth manager and Auto-start manager. Let’s break this down some more and see what each aspect entails:

• Mobile cleanup clears cached trash, installation APKs and large files chewing up your storage space.
• App manager lets you dictate which apps can send notifications, and provides one-touch app uninstall. More to that, you can also force stop or disable apps altogether, if you so wish.
• Bandwidth manager lets you create and monitor a mobile data plan by specifying monthly usage. You can toggle the Autodisconnect button to cut off data once you reach a specified data limit.
